These pictures were taken by Sammy Jo, November 1994, at the AGMF in Miami FL. Spencer's on the right
and Stephen Gibb (Spencer's cousin) on the left. Who is the other musician? This is what Spencer
had to say about him:
"The other musician in the photo with Stephen
is Sturgis
Nikides, who played with John
Cale
for many years. I used to play with him in Miami a lot, and
he is very responsible for much of the way I play guitar today - just an
incredible musician".
-- So now we know the inspiration behind
Spencer's brilliance. It's a shame we can't see Sturgis' face... I will
have to do some digging. The boat they are on is called the Lady
Lucille.
